Meet Kevin Huff, CEO of Sales Artists

Kevin Huff launched Training To Go with one idea in mind: to change the game of corporate training. Training To Go broke the chains of traditional training inside and outside the classroom. With Kevin’s unique style, Training To Go doubled in size in the first year. At the end of his second year, Kevin sold his company to Sales Artists, becoming the CEO (or as he prefers, the Chief Experience Officer).

Kevin brings a wealth of sales, marketing, and training experience to Sales Artists. He has held key leadership positions in Marketing and Sales for several companies, including Verizon, Qwest Communications, and Level 3 (Broadwing). Kevin has trained over 10,000 new hire sales representatives, and speaks nationally on the subjects of Training and Sales.

Session II: [Dale Carnegie] Motivational Leadership

Our world has changed. Thirty years ago, companies were hiring managers and they were hiring leaders, but they were not necessarily the same people. Today, every manager is expected to not only to be an effective leader but also a coach and a mentor. Most of us are comfortable on one side or the other in the leadership/management balance. It is important to examine the balance between what we are doing today vs. what we are leading others to do. The way we see others and the assumptions we make about people and the world around us shape our reality and the environment in which we work. After completing this workshop, you will be able to identify the roles and responsibilities of a successful leader and realize that our opinions and ideas about leading others shape the environment in which we work. You will take away principles that build trust with others and you will be able to identify opportunities to recognize and develop the human potential in your organization.

Lunch Keynote: [GYB Coaching] Jack Klemeyer

In my youth I watched my father start several businesses, many of which were ahead of their time, and all with enormous potential. I saw first hand how devastating the lack of support for an entrepreneur could be, both on the business and on a family. The awareness of how critical support is for any entrepreneur grew as I started my own selling career with a major U.S. property and casualty insurance company. From college days forward I have dedicated myself to helping people in small businesses develop, grow and thrive. As a coach, it is my passion to serve my clients in maximizing their potential.

Jack Klemeyer is the founder of GYB Coaching a coaching company founded to bring high impact, result focused group coaching and individual coaching to business owners to help them grow their business.
